Bing Rewards

What is Bing Rewards?

Bing is like Microsoft's version of Google, but nobody uses it because it basically copies Google's search results.
Bing Rewards is something that Google doesn't have though: you can earn credits simply by searching using Bing! Once you earn enough credits, you can redeem prizes in their store such Microsoft products, store discounts, and most importantly, gift cards.

How Do I Join?

  1. Make a Microsoft Outlook account if you don't have one already (click here). If you use Skype or Hotmail, then you already have a Microsoft account, just use that.
This is just like a Gmail or Yahoo, your private information is safe with them. Write down your username (email) and password, because you will need it for Bing Rewards.
  2. Click on the banner at the top of this page, or click here to join Bing Rewards. You will start out with some free credits!
  3. Sign up using your Microsoft account.
  4. Follow all the instructions, and you're done!

How Do I Earn Credits?

The cards on the Bing Rewards home page are constantly updated with tasks. All of them are super easy!
The ones on the top change every day. Just click on it and close the newly opened tab--you don't need to read it or do anything. Then just refresh the home screen and a green check mark will appear next to the offer.

The ones on the bottom can be completed daily. The main one I use is the PC search, where you can earn 15 credits for searching Bing 30 times (or 30 credits for searching 90 times during special events). Remember that you must be logged in to earn credits.

Tip: You can earn credits super fast by hitting random letters on the keyboard and searching. Bing counts it as a search, and it will take you only a minute to search 30 times!

Status (Levels)

You can earn up to three statuses (click here). The higher the status, the better the rewards.

Redeeming Prizes

The Bing Rewards store is here. Although there isn't a wide variety of prizes, it's still pretty good for doing such simple tasks! They have Amazon, Starbucks, iTunes, Burger King, Game Stop, and others that you may find very useful.

Remember that Bing Rewards will send gift cards to your Microsoft email, not your home address. Even more awesome, they send you the gift card code within a couple minutes after you redeem it!

PayPal/Swagbucks Trick

Don't like the prizes that Bing offers? Want something from the much larger Swagbucks store but never seem to be able to reach your goal? Here's how I combine Bing's super-easy earning and Swagbucks' awesome rewards store to get PayPal credit.

If you've never heard of Swagbucks or don't have an account, you may have easily skipped over this prize in Bing's reward store:

Although it now costs 100 more credits than the other $5 gift cards in the store (it used to be 475), it is still well worth it if none of Bing's other prizes appeal to you.

Once you redeem this prize, Microsoft will email you a single-use Swag Code worth 500 SB. Be sure to redeem it right away!

Don't have a Swagbucks account yet? Not sure what it is? Check out this page on my blog!

  2. I mainly used this website to get Amazon credit. But, if you want to buy Fantage things, you will need to go through PayPal. See the newly added section on the bottom of the post.
